The Luisa Mell Institute primarily focused on rescuing injured or at-risk animals, which were then adopted and rehabilitated. Around 300 animals, including dogs and cats, were kept in a shelter, where they were fed and cared for while waiting for families to adopt them. Each month, approximately R$300,000 was spent on their care, and donations and partnerships are what make the project possible.
To this end, Ressalva Project supported the Institute by donating t-shirts and caps for the bazaar, 100% of which went to the Luisa Mell Institute.
